Frequently Asked Questions

What street markets are open today in Spain?

On this page, we list the 406 street markets and weekly street markets that are held today Tuesday throughout Spain, grouped by autonomous community and province. The list is automatically generated each day based on the active street markets in our database, filtered by day of the week and excluding those that fall on a local holiday.

What time do the street markets open?

Most street markets in Spain open between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. and close around 2:00 p.m. Neighborhood street markets usually have shorter hours (9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.), while large urban flea markets, such as El Rastro in Madrid, may stay open until 3:00 p.m. Check the exact hours on each street market’s page.

Are street markets held on holidays?

It depends on the municipality. Many town councils cancel the street market when it falls on a local holiday, especially if it’s a national holiday (Christmas, New Year’s Day, Three Kings’ Day, May 1). At Feriam, we try to automatically exclude from the list any street markets whose scheduled day coincides with a local holiday, but it’s best to confirm directly with the town council before heading out.

How do I know if there’s a street market in my town?

Use the search bar at the top of the page and type in the name of your town or city. If it appears on Feriam, you’ll see a listing showing the days of the week the street market is held, its exact location, and what it specializes in. If it doesn’t appear, contact us: our database grows every week with new municipalities.

What types of street markets are there?

The most common types are: general street markets (clothing, shoes, home goods, food), agroecological and locally sourced markets, artisan street markets, antique and secondhand flea markets, food fairs, and one-time themed food fairs. We list the main category on each listing so you can see at a glance what to expect.
