he Culleredo City Council has been organizing the Vilaboa municipal fair since June 2005. It is held on the second Sunday of every month on the streets connecting the towns of Vilaboa and Acea de Ama—Vicente Risco Street, which runs parallel to the AP-9, and Rutis Avenue, which runs down toward the sea—and features around 160 stalls selling jewelry, accessories, clothing, shoes, household goods, fresh produce, and handicrafts.
Its success led the City Council to replicate the model: in September 2023, after passing a new ordinance regulating street vending, it launched a second monthly street market on the O Burgo Boardwalk, meaning the municipality now hosts a market every fifteen days.
