he Guillermo de Osma Market is one of two indoor market halls in the Arganzuela district (Madrid). The market hall is named in honor of the 19th-century Spanish diplomat Guillermo de Osma y Scull (1853–1922). It is one of the newest markets in the capital, inaugurated on March 7, 1970, by Mayor Carlos Arias Navarro. The market covers an area of 2,000 square meters, spread over two floors. It houses approximately 100 stalls. The original architectural design dates back to 1950 and covered a much larger area.
