he first market in Soria’s Bernardo Robles Square dates back to 1914. In September 2011, it closed for a comprehensive renovation, and the vendors moved to a temporary market in Las Concepciones Square, which opened on September 20, 2011, with about twenty stalls.
The new Soria Indoor Market opened on March 31, 2017, with 17 fresh produce stalls on a 700 m² floor, and included restaurants, movie theaters, and underground parking. In 2024, the Soria town council awarded a contract for its digitization—including a marketplace, refrigerated display cases, and digital screens—funded by European Next Generation funds.
