l Mercat Figueter de Capellades es una de las ferias más antiguas de la comarca de l'Anoia, con más de 600 años de historia documentada. Nació de la venta de higos ("figues") que los payeses de la zona traían para comerciar en la época de la cosecha, dando nombre a la feria.
Con el paso de los siglos se ha transformado en una gran feria anual que se celebra el segundo domingo de Cuaresma, combinando puestos de artesanía y comercio con actividades culturales y de dinamización organizadas por el Ajuntament de Capellades, consolidándose como un referente del calendario festivo de la comarca.
