Municipal Software

Software for indoor markets that's actually used

Feriam is the platform that town councils use to manage their markets and street markets: who occupies each stall, what permit they have, what fee applies, and whether they have paid it. No installation required and no spreadsheets needed.

Stalls at an indoor market in the middle of market day

What problem does it solve?

Today, nearly all indoor markets in Spain are managed using a spreadsheet, a folder of papers, and the memory of the person who has held the stall for twenty years. It works until that person retires—or until they have to respond to a complaint from three years ago.

Everything in one place

The merchant census, permits, receipts, and market map are no longer stored in separate files. Each piece of data is entered once and can be accessed from wherever it is needed.

Traces of Everything

Every change is logged, including who made it and when. When a complaint or audit comes in, the answer is in the record—not in anyone's memory.

Without installing anything

You can log in using a web browser from the office, from home, or from the market itself using your cell phone. There is no server to maintain at the town council and no software to update on each computer.

What's Included

These aren't modules you buy separately—they're included with the platform.

  • Census of Merchants. Starters, substitutes, documentation, additions, and removals, along with their complete history.
  • Permits and Licenses. Validity, suspensions, transfers, and renewals, with a PDF certificate and a publicly verifiable QR code.
  • Fees and Bills. Invoice generation, credit card processing via a payment gateway, and management of delinquent accounts.
  • Map of the Market. Each stall is marked on the actual map, along with its occupant, area, and condition.
  • Calls for Proposals and Award of Contracts. Posting of job openings, applications, evaluation, and assignment based on traceable criteria.
  • Merchant Portal. The seller checks their authorization, pays their bills, and files their paperwork without ever setting foot in the town council.
  • Public Market Website. Each market has its own page with hours, a schedule, and a list of vendors, indexed by search engines and available in twelve languages.
  • Inspection via Mobile Phone. Staff verify authorizations at the market itself by scanning the stall's code.

How to Get Started

  1. We're bringing you your data

Just send us the spreadsheet or list you have, in whatever format, and we'll import it for you. There's no need to re-enter the census data.

  2. We Map Out Your Markets

We upload the map of each market and place the stalls where they are located. From there, the map is edited from the dashboard.

  3. We put the team together

A session with the people who will be using it every day. The platform is designed for market professionals, not IT specialists.

  4. We launched the website

Merchants receive their credentials and begin handling on their own what used to be done at the counter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to install anything at the town council?

No. Feriam runs in the browser, and we handle hosting, backups, and updates. If your regulations require that the data be stored on your own server, it can also be installed on your infrastructure.

What about the data we already have?

We import them. It doesn't matter if they're in Excel, Access, or a Word document: we review them, upload them, and verify them with you before approving the migration.

Is it suitable for a small town council with just one street market?

Yes, and that's where it's most noticeable. A municipality with a weekly street market and eighty stalls doesn't need any less oversight than a larger one—it just needs it to be less work. There's also the option of forming an association of municipalities to manage several municipalities at once.

Does it comply with data protection and accessibility requirements?

Yes. The data is hosted in the European Union, every access is logged, and the public pages comply with the WCAG guidelines required by Royal Decree 1112/2018 for public administrations.

Shall we take a look at your markets?

Half an hour, with your information in front of you, to see if this works for you. No obligation, and no salesperson will follow up afterward.
